At Meadow Pathways, safeguarding is woven into every aspect of our practice. We work proactively to create emotionally safe, nurturing environments where children and young people feel heard, respected and protected. Our approach is rooted in trauma‑informed, relational practice and guided by statutory expectations, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2026 and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2026.
All staff receive regular safeguarding training, supervision and updates to ensure they remain confident in recognising concerns, responding appropriately and following clear reporting routes. We operate safer recruitment procedures, maintain robust risk assessments, and ensure that all adults working with children understand their responsibilities and professional boundaries.
Meadow Pathways works closely with families, schools, health professionals and multi‑agency partners to ensure concerns are addressed quickly and effectively. We believe safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and we are committed to transparent communication, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
